JOB DESCRIPTION

JOB TITLE: After-School Enrichment/ETC Program Site Coordinator II

IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: Community Education Director

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 
  Ability to work with children
• Good communication skills
• Creativity
• Bookkeeping skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to assist students with academic work
• Experience in school-age child care or elementary enrichment programs necessary
• High School Diploma, G.E.D. Certificate
• Pass health examination
• Have no immoral or criminal history
• Have ability to work with other staff members and with children

DUTIES:

• Provide an interesting, safe, healthy, and enriching environment conducive to meeting the individual needs of youth
• Work with school personnel, youth, parents, and school community in developing a well-rounded, enrichment program for students P-1 through
• Supervise specialty teachers/program assistants to assure quality instruction for youth
• Design, in cooperation with community education director, daily/monthly preparation of activities and activities calendar. Develop/maintain roster of specialty instructors
• Assist community education director in development of program promotion
• Report required information regarding program, facility, staff, student and parent concerns to Community Education office.
• Meet with Parent Advisory Council at regularly scheduled meetings
• Coordinate/develop daily snack menu and/or lunch menu for students; shop for supplies
• Keep and maintain accurate records of participating students, i.e. enrollment, medical/health forms, permission forms, sign-in and sign-out records, licensing documents, etc. Collect parent/student fees
• Participate in scheduled professional development training and staff meetings
• Other duties as assigned by Community Education Director
