You will ensure that all safety and sanitary conditions are strictly met while keeping accurate records of food production to guarantee every student receives a healthy, balanced meal. This position requires moderate physical exertion and a heart for service, as you will work closely with other staff members to create a welcoming atmosphere in our cafeteria. JOB TITLE: Cafeteria Cook (Cook/Baker/Dishwasher)
IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: Cafeteria/School Food Service Manager I
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma, G.E.D. Certificate- Pass health examination
- Complete Food Handler Exam
- Have no immoral or criminal history
- Have ability to work with other staff members and with children
- Be able to perform tasks that require moderate physical exertion
DUTIES:
Help with food preparation- Maintain sanitary conditions
- Maintain records required in preparation of food
- Other duties as assigned by Cafeteria Manager
