Duties

• Efficiently deliver food from the kitchen to tables, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met.
• Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including basic meal assembly and garnishing.
• Maintain cleanliness in dining areas, including bussing tables, clearing dishes, and resetting tables for new guests.
• Greet guests warmly upon arrival, manage waitlists, and seat guests promptly while providing friendly assistance.
• Handle order taking using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, accurately recording guest requests.
• Support beverage preparation when required, including serving drinks and refilling beverages to enhance guest satisfaction.
• Uphold food safety standards by handling food properly, adhering to sanitation protocols, and managing dishwashing duties efficiently.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a host/hostess or in food service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and a positive attitude are essential.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with guests and team members.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and POS transactions.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with restaurant operations such as order taking, serving, bussing, or catering is advantageous.
• Familiarity with hospitality tools like OpenTable or similar reservation systems is a plus.
