What are the responsibilities and job description for the Line Cook position at Woodfire Brick Oven Pizza?
We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team. We have 2 kitchens, which make all food from scratch to deliver high volume amounts of food. There is a large ongoing need for prep work and service work. We are looking to hire professional cooks who can adhere to a recipe, keep their space clean, and work in an efficient manner.
Duties:
Prepare and cook menu items in compliance with established recipes and standards
Ensure the quality and presentation of dishes meet the restaurant's expectations
Collaborate with the kitchen team to plan and execute meal preparation efficiently
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
Monitor food stock levels and report them to management
Adhere to all food safety and sanitation procedures
Skills:
-Saute, fry, grill, prep
Strong knowledge of food service best practices
Proficiency in knife skills and various cooking techniques
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
