Wooden Legs Brewing Company takes great pride in the culinary creations served from our pub kitchen. We are seeking a passionate part-time cook to help support our team.
The ideal candidate for this position has previous restaurant experience, but more importantly, is self-driven, ambitious, engaged, capable of taking direction well and multi-tasking effectively. Responsibilities
- Set up workstations
- Clean food preparation areas, cooking surfaces, and utensils
- Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, slicing meat, and preparing sauces)
- Cook and serve food, such as pizza, wraps, sandwiches and other pub foods
- Follow health and safety guidelines
- Prepare ingredients for use during shift
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
Qualifications
- Proven working experience as a cook
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to listen and communicate effectively
