Woodcrest Small Engine is a fast-growing, family-owned outdoor power equipment dealership and service center. We are looking for a skilled and motivated Small Engine Mechanic to join our team. As a Small Engine Mechanic, you will diagnose, service, and repair outdoor power equipment including zero-turn mowers, walk-behind mowers, string trimmers, chainsaws, generators, snow blowers, and more. You’ll work in a positive environment where your skill, attitude, and work ethic truly matter.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair a wide range of outdoor power equipment
- Perform routine maintenance: tune-ups, oil changes, blade sharpening, adjustments, etc.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
- Work with 2-cycle and 4-cycle engines (2-cycle experience is a plus)
- Accurately document work performed and parts used
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace
- Communicate clearly with team members and service advisors
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, electrical troubleshooting, and hydraulic basics
- Ability to diagnose problems efficiently and accurately
- Must have a positive, professional attitude
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $38.00 per hour
