Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Night Auditor to join our team. The Night Auditor is responsible for overseeing front desk operations during overnight hours, assisting guests, balancing daily financial transactions, and preparing end-of-day reports to ensure smooth hotel operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist guests with check-ins, check-outs, and overnight requests
- Answer phone calls and respond to guest inquiries professionally
- Process reservations, cancellations, and room changes
- Balance and reconcile daily financial transactions and reports
- Run nightly audit procedures and prepare accounting summaries
- Handle guest concerns and resolve issues promptly
- Maintain security and safety procedures during overnight hours
- Ensure lobby and front desk areas remain clean and organized
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams as needed
- Prepare reports for management and morning staff
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous hotel front desk or customer service experience preferred
- Experience with hotel property management systems is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic math and computer skills
- Ability to work independently overnight
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Reliable attendance and punctuality required
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Hilton systems such as PEP
