The Digital Cinema Production Program is seeking a student lab assistant. The student lab assistant will be responsible for assisting, supporting and tutoring UVU Digital Cinema students with their Avid account. Will also oversee the distribution of Avid accounts and technical problems. Work up to 10 hours per week. Hours will vary.
Summary Of Responsibilities

Summary Of Responsibilities
- Manage Avid Lab and assist Digital Cinema students with their Avid accounts.
- Assist and tutor students with Post-Production.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Must be a current UVU student enrolled in the Digital Cinema program
- Must be an upper-division student enrolled in the Post-Production track
- Must have taken DCPR 2630 and either DCPR 3630 or DCPR 3660 or enroll in upcoming semester.
- Must have a thorough understanding of Avid Media Composer.
- Familiar with post lab and equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated
- Dependability in following schedules and procedures.
- Ability to work well with others and support faculty.
- Ability to maintain the confidentiality of student records.
- Ability to manage time.
- Ability to follow routine verbal and written instructions.
- Ability to move around the lab to assist students and faculty.
