Summary Of Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Assisting customers with their needs.
- Cooking, serving, and/or operating a cash register.
- Stocking product for the following day.
- Cleaning and daily maintenance of the Dining Services locations.
- All student workers need to be customer-oriented, friendly, helpful, and able to follow directions from their supervisor.
- Employees are required to arrive to work on time, in a clean uniform, and fulfill the duties assigned to them.
- Shifts are 4 - 5 hours a day:
- Monday-Thursday: 7 am-9 pm
- Fridays: 7 am-6 pm
- Saturdays: 9 am-3 pm
- Must be a current UVU student.
- Must be able to lift 30 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
- Food Handlers Permit is required within the first 30 days of employment.
- Must have a four-hour time gap every day to work Monday through Thursday
- Must have excellent customer service skills.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
