Summary Of Responsibilities
High School diploma or equivalent and two years of experience in customer service, office administration, or human resources support; OR an equivalent combination of education or experience.

Summary Of Responsibilities
- Responsible for managing incoming calls as well as walk-in traffic from faculty, students, staff, and the general public. This includes disseminating information, recording, assisting with general questions, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and routing to the appropriate personnel and/or institutional area. Responsible for processing background checks, initiating and following through with new hire paperwork, and processing. Verifies document to complete the federal I-9 form.
- Provide information and assistance to job applicants regarding the job search and application process; assist applicants with routine questions about job vacancies and application status; and refer requests for in-depth job search assistance to the talent acquisition team. Follow up with department representatives as necessary to ensure resolution of problems involving incomplete, inaccurate, or non-compliant documentation.
- Provide general information and assistance for all of People & Culture and refer complex issues and specific questions to subject matter experts SME.
- Maintain and update UVHire, Background Check, and I-9 information in the HRIS system to ensure proper recording, routing, retention, storage, and/or disposition of all documents received by the center, in accordance with established policies and procedural guidelines. Assist various P&C areas with assigned special projects or events. Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
