What You’ll Do
- Lead and support student staff during assigned shifts.
- Ensure consistent, high-quality customer service across all service areas.
- Assist with ID card services, postal operations (CPU), and customer inquiries.
- Support front-of-house operations, including ticket sales and event check-in/scanning.
- Help manage lost and found and temporary signage placement.
- Reinforce policies, procedures, and staff training.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to stay organized and prioritize in a busy environment.
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset.

- Campus Connection is a central hub for student services at UVU. In this role, you’ll gain valuable leadership experience, develop operational skills, and be part of a collaborative team that directly impacts the student experience.
- Flexible scheduling based on operational needs, including evenings and occasional weekends.
- Provide quality customer service to students, staff, faculty, and community members using the services of UVU. Sell UTA transit passes and tickets. Accept, organize, pick up, and maintain the campus lost-and-found. Take deposits for the UVU GreenBucks accounts and balance the cash drawer daily. Generate ID Cards for students, staff, and faculty. Provide clients with information about the University's programs and services. Provide information and locations for campus events. Research information on the Student Information System.
- Postal Clerk: Provide quality customer service to students, staff, faculty, and community members using the UVU Contract Postal Unit Services. Balance cash drawers and complete shift deposits.
- Supervise and Train Student Employees under the direction of the Manager and Assistant Manager according to USPS and UVU regulations and policies pertaining to the Contract Postal Unit and Campus Connection services. This includes assisting with creating the staff schedule.
- Assist with updating website information and marketing Campus Connection/UVU CPU. Perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Customer service experience.
- Ability to lead and guide others.
- Supervisory or training experience.
- Experience in retail, ticketing, postal services, or similar operations.
Knowledge
- Knowledge of USPS regulations, policies, procedures, and services.
- Knowledge of MS Office.
- Knowledge of General Accounting Principles and practices.
- Knowledge about FERPA regulations.
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.
- Skills with MS Office, especially Excel.
- Skills with accounting.
- Must be able to count American money accurately.
- Must be able to research using the internet.
- Ability to clearly give verbal and written instructions in English.
