RN Nursing Supervisor, PER DIEM

Woodbury Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking dedicated nursing professionals on Long Island. We are experienced Nursing Supervisors to join our team as we reach new heights in Rehab and Nursing Care.

Woodbury Heights Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking experienced and motivated Nursing Supervisors to join our leadership team on a per diem basis. We are currently seeking candidates to provide supervision and clinical oversight on weekends, evenings, and weekday evenings in our Long-Term Care and Rehabilitation facility.

This role plays a key part in maintaining the highest standards of patient care, staff support, and regulatory compliance. The RN Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality nursing care and services. The RN Supervisor helps ensure that the quality of nursing care remains in accordance with standards, policies, and procedures, and is always in compliance with federal and state regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and support nursing staff to ensure safe, high-quality, person-centered care
• Coordinate resident care across interdisciplinary teams
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations
• Provide mentorship, guidance, and performance feedback to staff nurses and CNAs
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and all members of the care team

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State (or eligibility for licensure)
• Minimum 3 years of nursing experience, preferably in Long-Term Care or Rehabilitation
• Leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred
• Excellent communication and team-building skills
• Commitment to delivering compassionate, resident-centered care
