Carpenter/Laborer

Position Overview:

The Carpenter is responsible for constructing and installing structures, windows, doors, fixtures and trim. Support other team members or trades with tasks needed for successful project completion.

Key Responsibilities:

· Construct and install building frameworks including walls and floor structures from building plans.

· Install windows, doors, fixtures and trim.

· Assist in unloading materials as needed.

· Travel to various job sites based on project needs.

· Follow safety protocols as defined by the business.

· Ensure work is completed according to appropriate building codes and regulations.

· Report any onsite needs or concern to project team.

· Various other onsite tasks as needed to support the project.

· Project warranty work as needed.

Qualifications:

· Ability to read and follow blueprints and building plans.

· Positive attitude that represents the organization well.

· Excellent attention to detail and time-management skills.

· Strong ability to verbalize questions when tasks seem unclear.

· Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

· Proven experience as a carpenter or in a similar role.

· Flexibility to transition from task to task daily.

· Willingness to learn new tasks and responsibilities.
