Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, located in Annandale, VA. Responsibilities include preparing and administering radiopharmaceutical agents, performing imaging procedures, ensuring radiation safety protocols are followed, and maintaining imaging equipment. The technologist will be expected to deliver high-quality diagnostic images to assist physicians in their evaluations, as well as provide compassionate care to patients throughout the imaging process.
Qualifications
- Certification or registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or CNMT or equivalent accreditation
- Expertise in Nuclear Medicine, including imaging techniques and equipment operation
- Knowledge of Radiopharmaceuticals application, preparation, and safety
- Strong understanding of Radiation Safety protocols and adherence to regulatory standards
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and provide excellent patient care
- Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Science, Nuclear Medicine Technology, or a related field is preferred
- Previous experience in a clinical or hospital setting is a plus
