Responsibilities
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
This position is a full-time, school-year position. Salary and benefits are in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement between the District and the Woodbridge Paraeducators Association. Responsibilities
- Interacts with children under the direction of the classroom teacher, special education teacher, and/or other personnel
- Implements Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), Student Behavior Intervention Plans, and/or Individualized Health Plans as needed
- Supports and collaborates with other educational staff to support students
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- Background, interest, and/or expertise in working with and/or supervising children
- Strong oral and written communication skills, organizational skills, clerical skills, and technology skills
- Two-year degree and/or passing score on ParaPro Assessment
- Background, interest, and/or expertise in working with and/or supervising children with special needs, physical challenges, and/or special equipment (e.g., wheelchair, stander)
- Background, interest, and/or expertise in data collection
