Position Overview
Woodbridge Islamic School is seeking certified and passionate teachers to join our academic team on a part-time basis across various subjects and grade levels. Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging and effective instruction in assigned subject areas.
Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with the school's curriculum and academic standards.
Create a positive and supportive classroom environment that encourages student learning and participation.
Assess student progress through assignments, assessments, and classroom participation.
Provide constructive feedback to students to support their academic growth.
Maintain classroom organization and manage student behavior effectively.
Collaborate with school leadership and colleagues to support student success.
Communicate professionally with parents when necessary regarding student progress.
Uphold the mission, values, and expectations of the school community.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
Teaching certification preferred.
Prior classroom teaching experience is strongly preferred.
Strong classroom management and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with school leadership and staff.
Passion for supporting student learning and development.
