Who We’re Looking for

We’re looking for a Material Handler to be responsible for transporting materials, supplies, and finished products to designated locations to support the functions of a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be a reliable and detail-oriented problem-solver with a demonstrated ability to balance safety and productivity. The Material Handler will report to the Production Manager. 

What you’ll be doing:

With the use of  tools, your experience, and industry standards you will…

•  Distributes, and stores products as directed in designated, secure locations.

• Transports and loads materials, supplies, and finished goods (manually and/or using hand trucks and skids).

• When problems arise, resolves issues with department supervisors and others

• Collects and properly disposes of scrap bracing, cardboard, and strapping; maintains a safe and clean work environment.

• Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

Experience and Education Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Computer skills preferred: 

  • Spreadsheet Software (Excel/Google Sheets)

  • Manufacturing Software 

  • Project Management software 

  • Word Processing software (Word/Google Docs)

  • Electronic Mail Software (Google) 

  • Presentation software (PowerPoint/Google Slides)

Desired Skills

• 1-2 years working in a manufacturing environment

• Significant forklift experience, history of having obtained OSHA compliant certification

• Good functional knowledge and adaptability to various computer systems/tools

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Self-motivated and an efficient problem solver

• Excellent management and supervisory skills.
