Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on manufacturing equipment, including hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems, and mechanical components.
- Troubleshoot complex issues using schematics, electrical blueprints, and engineering troubleshooting techniques to identify root causes efficiently.
- Operate precision measuring instruments such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools to assess equipment condition.
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to execute repairs accurately.
- Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to document work orders, track maintenance activities, and manage inventory levels.
- Conduct field service activities involving industrial electrician tasks, HVAC/R systems maintenance—including HVAC and low-voltage systems—and welding operations such as welding.
- Troubleshoot pneumatic systems and perform electrical diagnostics on high voltage and low voltage circuits with safety compliance.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve machinery reliability and implement modifications or upgrades as needed.
- Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols related to high voltage systems, industrial maintenance procedures, and field service operations.
- Provide excellent customer service internally by supporting production teams with timely repairs and technical support.
Experience
- Proven industrial mechanic experience within a manufacturing facility environment.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems including hydraulics, pneumatics, welding (including welding), and HVAC/R systems.
- Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics reading, electrical blueprint interpretation, and troubleshooting electrical diagnostics.
- Familiarity with CMMS software for maintenance management and inventory control.
- Ability to operate precision measuring instruments such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools accurately.
- Experience working with high voltage (HV) systems safely in accordance with industry standards.
- Background in industrial electrician work or industrial maintenance roles is highly desirable.
- Excellent analysis skills combined with strong problem-solving capabilities in engineering troubleshooting scenarios.
- Prior military or field service experience is a plus for candidates demonstrating discipline and technical proficiency.
- Fluency in English is required for effective communication across teams.
