Opportunity Overview
We offer a unique opportunity to join our Tampa, Florida office, providing high-quality wastewater engineering services to municipal clients throughout the region and nationwide.
The successful candidate will be a motivated, growth-oriented professional who can lead and grow the South Region Wastewater Team and multi-discipline project teams from the concept, final design, and construction phases, start-up, and facilities operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support the engineering on municipal wastewater projects.
- Direct and collaborate with a team of junior staff.
- Have experience with drinking water, storm water, and industrial wastewater applications.
- Support the Project Manager with and/or directly manage the financial and technical delivery of project tasks, including scope, schedule, and budget.
- Pursue new projects in concert with the Business Development Team, including the development of approach and scope, and provide input on the budget.
Requirements
- 20 years of experience in evaluating, planning, designing, and constructing wastewater engineering projects.
- Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Chemical, or Environmental Engineering, M.
- Substantial technical and project management expertise in civil and environmental engineering.
- In-depth understanding of the engineering concepts associated with all types of municipal wastewater systems.
- Lead technical engineer for at least 5 wastewater treatment facility designs (new or expansion).
- Up to date on the latest technological advances, regulatory trends, equipment, and processes.
- Well-versed in state and local regulations regarding wastewater treatment and collection systems.
