Typical responsibilities
- Lead and oversee all electrical and instrumentation engineering activities from concept through execution and closeout
- Manage multidisciplinary teams across global locations to deliver project scope efficiently
- Develop engineering deliverables including P&IDs, control system architectures, datasheets, and specifications in compliance with project and regulatory standards
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and designers
- Collaborate with project managers to define scopes, schedules, and budgets, and monitor progress
- Interface with clients, regulatory agencies, and contractors to resolve technical issues and obtain approvals
- Participate in safety reviews such as HAZOP and SIL assessments
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses to recommend optimal solutions
- Support procurement by reviewing vendor proposals and ensuring compliance with specifications
- Promote a culture of safety, quality, and environmental responsibility in all engineering activities

Expected
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, instrumentation engineering, or related field
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification is required for the role. Willing to consider candidates who are willing and qualified test for the PE certification withing 6 months of employment
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in electrical and instrumentation engineering, preferably in offshore oil and gas projects
- Proven expertise in control system design and offshore production facility systems
- Strong leadership and communication skills with experience managing multidisciplinary teams
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations including API, ISO, and OSHA
