Typical responsibilities
- Create detailed grading plans using Civil 3D grading tools, feature lines, corridors for a variety of earth work projects
- Develop construction plans, schematics, and volumes for a variety of projects
- Assist in the development of Civil 3D workflows, Create/uphold CAD Standards
- Work with team members to help troubleshoot/solve potential problems that occur within the scope of work
- Must be willing to learn new methods and skills to hone their professional development within the Civil 3D platform
- Ability to multi-task with several projects simultaneously, manage time, and dedicated to completing projects with tight deadlines
- Candidate will be self-motivated, show strong initiative, and have the ability to learn quickly, possess excellent organizational and communication skills, dependable, works well in a team setting and/or independently, accurate while working in a fast-paced environment, flexible to changes in the organizational environment
- Additional knowledge and skills in the GIS realm are a positive. The ability to perform at a high level in both Civil 3D Design and GIS workflows is extremely beneficial.

Expected
- High School Degree or GED
- Technical degree or certification within Autodesk Civil 3D preferred
- 3 years of experience using Autodesk Civil 3D
- Experience working with Project Managers remotely for design figures, models, and creating sheets for construction sets
- Advanced - Expert skill level of Civil 3D Surfaces, Grading Tools, Corridors, XML Files, Civil 3D Styles, Volumes, and data shortcuts
- Working knowledge of sheet set manager is a plus
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (including SharePoint)
- Working Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat Pro
- Working Knowledge of Blue Beam is a plus
- A thorough understanding of Drafting Standards
- Must be able to pass pre-employment drug, background and fit tests.
