What are the responsibilities and job description for the WoodWorking Assistant position at Wood & Wrench?
Hiring full time/part-time and project-based shop assistants and apprentices.
Creative. Curious. Strong work ethic. Takes pride in work. Willing to learn. Efficient.
Able to travel for installs. Prior woodworking/sculpting/carpentry experience a plus.
You'll assist with building, assembling, and finishing custom wood furniture pieces including stairs, built-ins, lighting, etc. You'll also assist with installations, shop organization, material preparation, design and fabrication.
The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, creative, curious, strong and excited to build awesome, beautiful things.
Requirements:
- Basic knowledge of math and usage of shop tools
- Ability to learn/follow direction
- Cool person that works well with others
