Responsibilities
- Operate commercial dishwashing equipment efficiently while adhering to food safety sanitizing procedures
- Clean, sanitize, and store all dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen tools according to sanitation standards
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed, including handling ingredients and organizing supplies
- Support bussing duties by clearing tables and ensuring dining areas remain tidy and welcoming
- Follow proper manual handling techniques when lifting heavy items such as large pots or crates of supplies
- Maintain strict adherence to kitchen health and safety standards to prevent accidents or contamination
- Assist in the overall sanitation of the kitchen area, including floors, work surfaces, and storage spaces
