Branch executives began as swim instructors, Program directors began as camp counselors. When you work here you will find opportunities to try new things not available at other organizations. When you work at Y child care, day camp, at the front desk, or in our association office, every day is a new adventure. You will have the opportunity to try new things, work with other departments and either live your passion or find a new one!
All employees with regularly scheduled hours of one (1) or more each week will receive some level of complimentary YMCA membership with the ability to upgrade.
Part-time and full-time positions are available, making jobs at the Y ideal for students and non-students alike!

Housing
The Wood River Community YMCA partners with the Wood River Community Housing Trust to assist employees with housing options. Wood River Community Housing Trust, Inc. (WRCHT) is an Idaho nonprofit corporation formed specifically to resolve the lack of housing in the Wood River Valley. Its mission is to acquire or develop affordable rental housing for the middle-income workforce.
