American Woods manufactures high-quality residential wood furniture including cabinets, tables, bed frames, dressers, bookshelves, and more. We're currently hiring entry-level Production Team Members for openings in Milling and Paint.

No manufacturing experience? No problem.

Many of our most successful employees came from industries where reliability, teamwork, and a strong work ethic mattered more than manufacturing experience. We provide on-the-job training—we're looking for dependable people who want to learn, contribute, and grow with us.

What You'll Do

Depending on the department, your responsibilities may include:

• Operate production equipment, machinery, and hand tools safely
• Sand, prepare, assemble, or finish furniture components
• Load, unload, and move materials throughout production
• Inspect parts for quality and accuracy
• Follow work instructions and established production processes
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Work as part of a team to meet daily production goals
• Learn new equipment and production skills over time

What We're Looking For

• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
• Attention to detail
• Comfortable working on your feet throughout the day
• Good hand and wrist dexterity
• Comfortable using step ladders as part of normal job duties
• Ability to work safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Mechanical aptitude is helpful, but not required.

We hire for reliability, work ethic, and attitude—we can teach the manufacturing skills.

These are entry-level manufacturing opportunities with starting wages ranging from $18-$20 per hour, depending on the position.

Previous manufacturing experience is always appreciated, but these positions are designed for individuals looking to build or begin a career in manufacturing. Starting pay is based on the position, with opportunities for advancement and wage growth as you develop your skills and experience.
