The Lease Operator will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our oil and gas wellsites. Key responsibilities include:
- Logging data, checking gauges, and performing minor repairs on equipment to maintain optimal well performance.
- Preparing for and conducting maintenance activities, including taking readings, issuing work permits, following procedures, and interfacing with support groups.
- Proactively monitoring well and equipment performance to maximize production and take corrective action as necessary.
- Collaborating with support groups to optimize chemical pump rates based on production data.
- Communicating with Engineering teams to gather data and facilitate problem-solving efforts.
- Tracking test compression data and conducting fluid level checks using an echo meter.
Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.
- Strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with chemicals and treating oil is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with industry-specific systems, terminology, and procedures is essential.
- Ability to perform routine tasks and make basic decisions under guidance.
- All candidates must pass a background check and drug/alcohol screening prior to hire.
