What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Person position at Wood Place LLC?
Job Summary:
We are looking for a staff person to help the Maintenance Manager with daily tasks in our busy multi-family apartment community. The right person will have a positive outlook, be well organized, and have some hands-on experience in building repairs and maintenance including, basic understanding drywall repair, touch up painting, basic carpentry, plumbing and electrical. Additional on-the-job training available, when needed.
Pay Range: $23 - $27 per hour, depending on experience, plus BONUS!
Responsibilities:
· Help the Maintenance Manager with daily repairs and work orders.
· Take directions and work alone to complete a project.
· Keep an organized, clean, and safe work area.
· Help with new move-ins, including changing light fixtures, cleaning, and general maintenance.
· Be dependable, arriving on time.
· Assist with general cleaning and upkeep of the premises as needed
Experience:
-· High school diploma a plus.
· Basic knowledge of maintenance preferred.
· Friendly and able to talk clearly with others.
· Have dependable transportation.
· Be familiar with the basic tools required for maintenance.
