What are the responsibilities and job description for the A1 Shaper position at Wood-Mode?
The A1 Shaper/Sander Operator is responsible for operating the machine that shapes and sands the outside profiles of solid wood doors.
- Must have the ability to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis.
- Must have the ability to read and operate a micrometer.
- Must have the ability to read metric and standard tape measurements.
- Must have basic computer knowledge.
- Must be mechanically inclined to perform machine setup, diagnose issues, and perform minor maintenance.
- Must have the ability to meet tight tolerances and quality expectations.
