What are the responsibilities and job description for the Artbeat Studio Coordinator position at Wood County Society?
Artbeat Studio Coordinator – Part-Time
Wood County Society is seeking two creative, compassionate, and motivated individuals to join our Artbeat Studio team! Artbeat Studio provides a welcoming and inclusive environment where adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities can explore their creativity, develop artistic skills, and share their talents with the community.
The two part-time coordinators will work together to support daily studio activities, work directly with artists, assist with the creation and development of artwork and products, and help promote the Art from the Heart Shop. Responsibilities may include hands-on art projects, product development, retail and merchandising, social media, marketing, community outreach, and special events.
We are looking for individuals who enjoy thinking creatively, working as part of a team, and helping others discover their abilities and potential. Candidates may bring different strengths, whether in art and artist development or retail, marketing, and community engagement. Both positions will involve working directly with artists and supporting the overall mission of Artbeat Studio and Wood County Society.
A degree in art or a related field is not required. Creativity, dependability, patience, strong communication skills, and a willingness to learn are highly valued. Experience in the arts, disability services, retail, marketing, or community outreach is a plus.
If you enjoy making a difference, thinking outside the box, and being part of a creative and inclusive community, we encourage you to apply!
Position Type: Part-time
Compensation: Discussed during the interview process.
