Essential Functions
Education: Diploma Nurse or ADN from an accredited school of nursing or Graduate of an accredited School of Practical Nursing
License: Current Ohio RN or LPN licensure
Certification: BLS within 90 days
Preferred
Experience: One (1) year charge nurse, supervisory, or management experience
Certification: ACLS

Essential Functions
- Supervise clinical staff and enforce standards outlined in the Nurse/Medical Assistant job description to ensure safe, consistent patient care practices.
- Coordinate clinical staffing by managing schedules, securing coverage for call-offs, supporting on-call rotations, and maintaining appropriate staffing levels through recruitment, hiring, and payroll approval.
- Provide clinical leadership and guidance by answering staff questions, offering clinical supervision, and ensuring adherence to current nursing practices, policies, and patient care guidelines.
- Manage operational processes by monitoring patient throughput, resolving customer service concerns, maintaining required certifications and regulatory compliance (including CLIA and staff licensure), and overseeing supply and vaccine inventory.
- Facilitate communication and staff development by acting as a liaison between staff, leadership, and university partners, orienting and training new employees, maintaining staff records, and supporting performance evaluations.
- Prepare, prevent, protect and respond to support our culture of safety.
