The Sonographer provides accurate and high-quality diagnostic imaging through ultrasound, ensuring patient safety and comfort while supporting physicians and medical teams in diagnosis and treatment planning. The sonographer is an onsite position.
Essential Functions
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations to produce clear and precise images for physician evaluation.
- Monitor patient conditions during procedures to ensure safety, comfort, and cooperation.
- Analyze ultrasound images and document findings accurately in patient records.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to review diagnostic results and assist with treatment decisions.
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring proper function, calibration, and adherence to safety protocols.
- Prepare, prevent, protect and respond to support our culture of safety.
- Works hours per week in accordance with offer letter or per attributes of position at transfer request. May be expected to work longer hours as necessary.
- Other duties as assigned.
