Certified Surgical Technician / Surgery / Full Time
The Certified Surgical Technologist is responsible for supporting safe, efficient surgical care by preparing the operative environment, assisting with patient positioning, and providing skilled intraoperative support. This role ensures sterile technique, patient safety, and adherence to surgical protocols while promoting teamwork, optimal outcomes, and timely OR turnover. The Certified Surgical Technician is an onsite position.
Essential Functions
Education: Successful completion of a surgical technology program accredited by Accreditation Review Council on Education in Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (ARC/STSA)
Certification
Experience: Two (2) years of surgical tech experience

Essential Functions
- Position and protect patients safely during procedures, collaborating with RNs, anesthesia and following surgeon preferences.
- Provide intraoperative support by maintaining field visualization, anticipating surgeon needs, and using appropriate surgical equipment.
- Maintain a sterile environment through monitoring technique, handling specimens, securing drains, and assisting with wound care.
- Support postoperative care and room readiness by assisting patient transfer, managing instruments, and preparing the OR for the next procedure.
Education: Successful completion of a surgical technology program accredited by Accreditation Review Council on Education in Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (ARC/STSA)
Certification
- National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA)
- BLS
