Certified Pharmacy Technician / Full Time Under the direct supervision of the Pharmacist and according to standard procedures, the pharmacy technician provides personal care and professional excellence by compounding and dispensing medications and pharmaceutical supplies upon receiving prescriptions from physicians and other qualified prescribers; typing labels, filing and preparing charge slips and performing other duties.Major Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities:
Demonstrates appropriate skills required to work with patients of any age.
Demonstrates accurate knowledge of the Pharmacy laws, rules and regulations commensurate with the responsibilities of the position.
Demonstrates accurate knowledge of professional pharmacy theory and practice with the ability to apply appropriate techniques under the supervision of a pharmacist as permitted by law.
Minimum Requirements:
Registered Pharmacy Technician with Ohio State Board of Pharmacy required or Pharmacy Technician Trainee with Ohio Licensure within ten (10) weeks of hire date.
CPhT (Certified Pharmacy Technician) with national Pharmacy Technician Certification Board required.
