What are the responsibilities and job description for the Family Service Worker position at Wood County Head Start, Inc.?
Primary responsibility is to establish and maintain supportive relationships with Head Start families. Conduct family interviews and home visits to identify and assess family needs.
Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or a related Human Services field is preferred or must be willing to obtain, at a minimum, a credential or certification in Social Work, Human Services, Family Services, Counseling or a related field within 18 months of hire.
This is a 40 hrs/wk position 10 to 11 months and 20 hrs/wk 1 to 2 months. Wage is $16.57-$19.39/hour depending on training and experience.
Wood County Head Start promotes further educating our staff with monthly trainings as well as provides a tuition reimbursement option for dedicated staff.
