What are the responsibilities and job description for the Center Aide (experience required) position at Wood County Head Start, Inc.?
- The primary responsibility of a Center Aide is to work with children that may have special needs within the classroom and assist with various classroom duties.
- Experience with 3-5 year old children is preferred. Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development Associate (CDA), or Early Childhood Course I and II are preferred or a high school diploma with six months work or volunteer experience with young children is required, Head Start experience is preferred.
- This position is 7 3/4 hours per day, 31 hours a week. Tuesday – Friday with occasional Mondays for approximately 9 ½ months/year. Wage is $13.69-$16.48 per hour depending on training and experience.
