**Job Summary:
The Warehouse Associate II is responsible for independently perform duties such as order pulling, product receiving, shipping, packaging, labeling, inventory tracking/management, and other warehouse related tasks.
**Duties:
- Certified as Forklift Driver (Sit Down) - REQUIRED
- Maintain accuracy in order pulling, shipping and receiving of product and materials.
- Prepare freight bills and monitor accuracy of completion.
- Verify quantity, weight and conformance of items shipped or received.
- Enter data in inventory and logistics programs and radio frequency scanner ensuring FIFO rotation of product and ingredients.
- Maintain clean and safe work environment by being aware of surroundings.
- Stage outbound product and raw material for production in designated areas; freezer included.
- Unload/load trucks, check condition of freight and verify piece count per freight bill.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
**Minimum Qualifications:
- HS Diploma required. Bachelor degree preferred.
- 3 years or more prior experience in distribution/warehouse manufacturing environment.
- Active Forklift certification.
- Experience with multiple types of lift trucks preferred.
- Ability to read, write and perform basic math skills with strong attention to detail including speed and accuracy in counting and verification.
- Must be able meet goals and objectives set forth by the company.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Interact with and work well with others in various fast changing environments/situations.
- Ability to prioritize, manage time, and carry out multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently or in a team setting.
- Ability to follow written or verbal instructions.
- A demonstrated ability to plan and problem solve.
- Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
**Essential Functions:
- Coordinates the shipment and receipt of all products, materials, and supplies.
- Collaborates and communicates with management, customer service representatives, production associates, and others involved in the shipment and outgoing shipments.
- Promptly, efficiently and safely loads/unloads trucks ensuring precision and quality of operations.
- Uses standard warehouse technology and tools to ensure inventory management accuracy.
- Stages outgoing shipments in advance to reduce load times and increase shipping efficiency.
