Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant/Toddler Teacher to join our educational team. The Preschool Teacher will work closely with families to support each child's growth and learning journey.
Duties
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Observe and assess children's progress, adapting teaching methods to meet individual needs.
- Provide guidance and support to children in their social interactions, helping them develop essential interpersonal skills.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's development, milestones, and any concerns.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive educational experience for all students.
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom that is conducive to learning.
- Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills.
Experience
- Previous experience in caregiving or working with children is essential; experience in daycare or as a nanny is preferred.
- Familiarity with special education practices is a plus.
- A background in early childhood education or related fields is highly desirable.
- Experience working with infants or young children in various settings will be beneficial.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with students, parents, and staff are required.
