FamilyCare Health Centers is looking for Full-time Radiology Technologist to work at our Winfield Convenient Care Site
Schedule will be as follows:
Week 1
Monday and Tuesday 9am-9pm
Wednesday and Thursday off
Friday and Saturday 9am-9pm
Sunday 11-6pm
Week 2
Monday and Tuesday off
Wednesday and Thursday 9am to 9pm
Friday/Saturday/Sunday off

Physical Requirements:
This employee must be able to assist patients onto the tabletop and into positioning per ordered X-rays. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Qualifications:
National Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and Licensed by the State.
Basic Function:
Produce all Radiological images and oversee the digital transfer to specified Radiologist for interpretation.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Meet and greet patients and explain the Radiologic
- Ability to position each patient per ordered exam
- Knowledge of when to use protective devices such as lead aprons and shields to meet Radiation Safety Standard
- Competency to set the x-ray tube to the proper distance and angle for the examination being performed
- Produce the best diagnostic images that are reproducible using the computer program for the department
- Generate findings report for interpretation
- Oversee and manage the transfer and archiving of digital images/reports
- Maintain all patient records according to HIPPA standards
- Wear monitoring dosimeter at all times while performing Radiologic Exams
- Check and Maintain equipment within Radiology
- Must have the aptitude to set controls using ALARA
