Position Summary:
Reporting to the Executive Director, the PA Women’s HUB Director (HUB Director) will be a member of the senior leadership team and will be responsible for leading all aspects of the PA Women’s Business Hub’s operations. The Director is charged with building the relationships and partnerships necessary to successfully serve 1,500 individuals over an 18-month period. This position will oversee services provided in-house by WORC staff, coordinate with and co-deliver services with third-party partners, and monitor project progress and outputs/outcomes to inform program adjustments. The HUB Director will also be responsible for outreach and marketing efforts to recruit program participants. This is a full-time position with a possible hybrid work schedule.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Program Leadership & Management
- Lead all aspects of the PA Women’s Business Hub’s operation, ensuring the successful delivery of services and achievement of program goals.
- Provide oversight of all services provided in-house by WORC staff, ensuring quality and consistency.
- Monitor project progress, outputs, and outcomes to inform program adjustments and ensure grant compliance.
- Identify appropriate consultants and experts who can aid clients and lead programs.
- Monitor program spending so that it falls in line with the budget
Partnership & Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders, including SBDCs, Chambers of Commerce, and other community organizations amd business associations.
- Coordinate and co-deliver services with 3rd party partners to enhance the program’s offerings.
- Nurture relationships with key project partners and prospective and existing clients
Outreach & Marketing
- Develop and implement a comprehensive promotional plan to raise awareness of the PA Women’s Business Hub.
- Spearhead ongoing efforts to recruit program participants, with a target of serving 1,500 individuals in 18 months.
- Organize and lead information sessions within the constituencies of partner organizations.
- Utilize traditional and social media marketing tools to promote the program and its services.
Required Knowledge, Experience, and Skills
- 3 years experience working with small businesses and/or experience working in a small/micro business ecosystem.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, social services, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the regional landscape for the services to be provided and a strong understanding of the microenterprise landscape in the target 5-county region.
- Proven ability to build and nurture relationships with key project partners and prospective clients.
- Proficiency with key traditional and social media marketing tools.
- Exceptional leadership and management skills, with the ability to oversee a complex program with multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and creative thinking skills.
- Compelling training and presentation skills.
