ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
Women’s Hope Medical Clinic, a Christian nonprofit in Auburn since 1983, is looking to hire a full-time Administrative Assistant, experience preferred. The individual in this position will provide development assistance and direct, full support for the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operations Officer. Essential functions include but are not limited to:
❖ Utilizing computer programs effectively in order to complete daily tasks including general correspondence, calendars, emails, detailed spreadsheets, mail merges, and donor reports
❖ Planning and coordinating meetings, speaking engagements, and facility tours
❖ Coordinating travel arrangements and itineraries
❖ Drafting communications and proofreading documents on behalf of the CEO/COO; writing monthly email updates to donors and community supporters
❖ Identifying, recommending, and securing appointments with businesses, pastors, prospects, and donors
❖ Assisting with fundraising and community awareness events; giving tours of the clinic and Hope Family Center; speaking publicly on behalf of the ministry
❖ Utilizing the donor management system to enter donations, monitor donation trends, cultivate donors, and ensure timely acknowledgements of gifts
❖ Working alongside the accounting team for making bank deposits and preparing budget reports
❖ Assisting in finding grants, applying for them, and tracking grant-related expenses
❖ Assisting with the onboarding process for new employees
❖ Additionally, this individual will be responsible for safeguarding confidential information and assisting with organization and coordination of office, event, grant writing and fundraising functions, including preparing drafts of the CEO and COO’s calendar, meeting agendas, and minutes
The ideal candidate must display a professional, loyal, and courteous demeanor. Must be a devoted Christian, with pro-life beliefs, values, and ethics. Able to respectfully take initiative and direction under the leadership and approval of the Chief Executive Officer.
