Women’s Health CT is currently seeking a Registered Nurse with Labor and Delivery experience for our Birthing Center in Danbury, CT!

Position: Registered Nurse (RN)
Employment: Full-time
Schedule: Monday- Friday.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Nursing liaison between patients and health care professionals.
- Patient history intake/ assessment and preparation.
- Assist Midwifes as needed during patient visits with physical exam or procedures.
- Advise patients of recommended actions/course of treatment as directed by physicians.
- Lab assessment/data collection.
- Document patient care and results in medical record in concise and timely manner.
- Advanced telephone triage functions.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Current CT RN license
- Minimum of 1-2 years of Labor and Delivery experience is required.
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- Ability to multitask and focus on details
