RN Circulator

Busy ambulatory surgery center looking for an experienced RN Circulator. Applicant must have a positive attitude and be able to work well with others.

The RN Circulator plays a critical role in the surgical process and will be responsible for:

• Escorting patients safely to the operating room and ensuring comfort throughout the pre-op process.
• Preparing patients for surgical procedures, including verification of medical history, allergies, and surgical consents.
• Monitoring and documenting patient vitals preoperatively, intraoperatively, and postoperatively.
• Assisting the surgeon and scrub techs during procedures by anticipating needs, maintaining a sterile field, and ensuring all equipment is functioning properly.
• Advocating for patient safety and ensuring compliance with all infection control standards and surgical protocols.
• Providing compassionate post-operative care, monitoring recovery, and supporting patients as they transition to discharge.
• Educating patients and family members on post-operative instructions, aftercare, and recovery expectations.
• Completing and organizing discharge paperwork accurately and efficiently.
• Collaborating with the surgical team to promote efficiency, safety, and a supportive care environment.

Schedule & Position Details

• Full-Time Position
• Unique schedule: Six days on / Six days off rotation
• Holiday coverage may be required on a rotating basis
• Competitive pay offered, commensurate with experience
• First two weeks of training will be held in our central location in Tifton, GA.

Qualifications

• Current Georgia RN license in good standing (required)
• Minimum of 1–2 years of circulating experience in an OR setting preferred (ambulatory surgery experience a plus)
• BLS and ACLS certification (Must have)
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, infection control standards, and patient safety practices
• Excellent critical thinking, organizational, and communication skills
• Compassionate bedside manner with a focus on patient-centered care
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams in a busy surgical environment

***Training for this position will take place at our Tifton, Georgia location for a minimum of two weeks.***
