Front Desk Receptionist

Women's Care is an OB/GYN medical practice, serving women in the greater Kansas City area that is committed to maintaining health and providing medical care to women throughout their adult lives. We pride ourselves on providing our patients with the highest level of personal and professional care.

We are currently seeking qualified candidates for a full-time medical front office receptionist.

Medical Receptionist Responsibilities:

• Greet and attend to patients in person and over the phone with a professional and courteous manner
• Check patients in and out and schedule appointments with accuracy and speed
• Perform all duties within HIPAA regulations
• Accurate data entry of demographic and insurance information into electronic database
• Maintain confidentiality of all providers, staff and patient information
• Work successfully with clinical and administrative teams with discretion and professionalism
• Adhere to company policy and procedures during all activities

Medical receptionist Requirements:

• Experience at a healthcare facility in a medical receptionist role
• A welcoming, friendly personality with customer service orientation
• Working knowledge of HIPAA regulations
• Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to use discretion while working with sensitive information
• Prior experience or ability to learn practice’s medical software (NextGen)
• Excellent data entry and communication skills
• Ability to work at both locations in Shawnee Mission and South Overland Park

Nice to have:

• Spanish speaking skills
