The Customer Service Representative handles and resolves incoming patient account calls while providing a superior customer service experience.

The Customer Service Representative handles and resolves incoming patient account calls while providing a superior customer service experience.
- Answer all incoming patient calls.
- Address patient account questions and concerns in regard to billing, outstanding balances, payments plans, etc.
- Handle all return mail and re-verify addresses for accuracy.
- Document patient account accurately and completely.
- Respond to daily Web Portal emails.
- Maintain positive rapport with internal and external clients at all times.
- Demonstrate and embody the Women’s Care mission and core values.
- Compliance with all HIPAA rules, regulations, and guidelines.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1 – 2 years’ experience of patient/insurance AR collections and patient customer service in a medical/healthcare setting.
- Thorough knowledge of the accounts receivable collections process.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to tactfully communicate with all personality types and handle stressful situations.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be highly detail-oriented and organized.
- Able to multi-task while on the phone.
- Practice Management system experience preferred.
- Previous experience with eClinicalWorks preferred.
- Bilingual is a plus.
- Demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
- Must be dependable, reliable, and punctual.
