Pay Based On Experience And Qualifications
What You'll Do
Patient Care & Support
- Welcome patients in person and by telephone with professionalism and compassion
- Escort patients to exam rooms and prepare them for visits and procedures
- Obtain vital signs, medical histories, and verify visit information
- Assist providers during exams and minor office procedures
- Prepare and process laboratory specimens
- Administer medications as directed
- Process prescription refill requests per provider instructions
- Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control standards
- Accurately document information within the electronic medical record system
- Maintain exam room and medical supply inventory
- Help create a safe, organized, and efficient clinical environment
- Protect patient confidentiality and comply with all HIPAA guidelines
- Support coworkers and contribute to a positive team culture
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) preferred
- OB/GYN experience preferred, but not required
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply
