What are the responsibilities and job description for the Triage Nurse position at Women's Cancer and Surgical Care P.C.?
Our growing specialty oncology clinic is seeking a full time Triage Nurse. Day-to-day tasks include post operative follow up calls, laboratory assessment, face-to-face patient care and triage calls.
If you licensed and in good standing with the NM BON and have at least two (2) years outpatient clinic experience, please submit your application!
Job duties include:
- Triages telephone calls, assesses needs and directs patients accordingly
- Assists physician during patient visits
- Reviews and addresses all patient visit files and records on ECLinicalWorks
- Reviews and shorts all lab reports, x-ray and other correspondence that correlates with patient visit
- Supervises the work of employees in supporting clinical roles
- Participates in program development and implementation of operating policy and procedures
- Oversees and provides direct nursing evaluation and/or other related care and consultation to patients as required.
- Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies’
- Promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices
- Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
