The Case Manager provides compassionate, trauma-informed support to survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault as they work toward safety, stability, and greater independence.

These positions partners directly with clients to identify their goals, develop individualized service plans, navigate community resources, and overcome barriers to safety and stability. The Case Manager provides ongoing advocacy, crisis intervention, safety planning, and resource coordination while building trusting relationships with clients and community partners.

The ideal candidate is compassionate, organized, resourceful, and comfortable working with individuals who may be experiencing significant barriers or crises. This position requires the ability to balance client-centered support with accurate documentation, follow-through, and collaboration across multiple systems.

Key Responsibilities Case Management & Client Support

  • Provide trauma-informed, strengths-based case management services to survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault.
  • Complete strengths-based assessments and develop individualized, client-directed service plans.
  • Partner with clients to identify goals and develop strategies that support safety, stability, and long-term self-sufficiency.
  • Provide ongoing advocacy, resource navigation, follow-up, and support.
  • Conduct individualized safety planning and provide crisis intervention.
  • Connect clients with WCA programs and community resources based on their individual needs and goals.
  • Facilitate support groups, educational groups, and client meetings as assigned.
  • Collaborate with WCA staff and community providers to coordinate services and promote continuity of care.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, objective, and confidential client documentation.
  • Maintain client waitlists, databases, and other program tracking systems.
  • Travel to WCA locations, community agencies, meetings, and partner organizations as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Human Services, Psychology, or a closely related field; equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
  • Ability to complete required Direct Service Victim Advocacy training through the Idaho Council on Domestic Violence and Victim Assistance (ICDVVA) within established timelines.
  • Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid certification.
  • Successful completion of a required criminal background check, which may include fingerprinting.
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and insurance meeting Idaho requirements if driving on behalf of WCA.
  • Ability to work occasional evenings and travel to community meetings, trainings, conferences, and other WCA locations as needed.

Pay: $23.00 - $25.60 per hour
