Position: Administrative Assistant

Time Requirements: Full time, 40 hrs/week

Major Areas of Responsibility:
Program
· Help lead programs
· Help facilitate programs
· Help expand programs
Human Resources
· Maintain employee and contractor records.
· Ensure proper and correct data are recorded in reports.
· Must have excellent communication ability and human relations skills.
· Must be willing to work with diverse populations in diverse areas.
· Must show initiative and ability to make sound and independent judgment.
· Provides office support via e-mail, electronic calendaring, word processing and spreadsheets.
· Ensure volunteers understand tasks involved by training and communicating work assignments.
Fundraising & Development
· Assist in planning events
· Support events
· Actively participate in fund development endeavors
· Recruit major donors in support of programs.
Administrative
· Promote programs
· Educate community about WOC programs.
· Maintain a positive presence with community partners.
· Provide administrative support.
· Must be flexible to accommodate multiple programs.
· Build and maintain effective relationships with staff, youth and families in various programs.
· Ensure work assignments are completed within designated time periods by planning, monitoring, and distributing work.
· Occasionally, work some evenings and weekends.
· Proficiency in typing, filing, accounting and organizational skills.
· Must be willing to attend training, workshops, events, and conferences as needed.
· Effective in a variety of formal presentation settings; one-on-one, small and large groups.
· Coordinate and conduct any program evaluations on assigned programs.
Special Projects
· Other projects as assigned by the President.
· Back up support in prevention training as instructor (with required certifications).
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
