Job Summary

Oversees the administrative aspects of the Interfaith Ministries Program of the hospital.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Demonstrates competency, individually and as part of the multidisciplinary team, in performing clinical care and assessment of all patient populations.
- Directs and administers the Social Work activities of the hospital.
- Provides interdepartmental consultation to other clinical staff.
- Represents the hospital in the community and other interagency activities in area of responsibility.
- Directs the activities of the Business Engagement Officer.
- Coordinates the Interfaith Ministry Internship Program.
- Develops and monitors annual budget.
- Effectively manages human resources.
- Enhances professional growth and development.
- Preserves and protects patient and employee rights to confidentiality.
- Performs other related duties as requested.
- Master’s degree in social work
- Current Rhode Island licensure at LICSW level required.
- NASW or NAPSW membership required.
- Five (5) years post-degree experience in a relevant and responsible capacity, including supervisory experience and administrative/program development responsibilities extending beyond students’ placement and casework activities is required.
- Perinatal clinical social work or related maternal child health clinical experience is strongly desired.
- Short-term crisis intervention experience is highly desirable.
