We are seeking a remote, full-time Quantitative Analyst to support our mission by providing data-driven insights and performing in-depth analyses to inform decision-making and policy development. As a Quantitative Analyst, you will collect, clean, and analyze data; create statistical models to identify trends and patterns; and generate actionable insights to support gender equity and diversity initiatives. You will collaborate with internal teams to develop data visualization tools and reports and contribute to evidence-based recommendations that drive positive change in the mining industry.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including data modeling, statistical analysis, and familiarity with tools like R, Python, or MATLAB
- Proficiency in data visualization and reporting tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to draw meaningful insights from complex data sets
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to translate technical data into accessible insights
- Familiarity with gender equity, diversity, and inclusion practices is an advantage
- Bachelor’s degree in Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Economics, or a related field (advanced degree preferred)
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment and collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders
